Booji (made by our very own hearty blogger, M.Dot!) releases their SS10 collection, titled Bittersweet, which has been picked up by some amazing French shops like colette (one of our favorites). Their first full collection highlights two models: the Regal-One and Francisco models, and some of the Booji line is vegan friendly. Sounds perfectly sweet to us! The Booji SS10 collection is available in store, in France only, at colette, Aimecube, BKRW, and Apartment 16. Everyone else, hit up the eshop. See more pieces from the Booji SS10 collection below.
In these sunglasses you can help bring on the Summer of Love. Designed as a collaboration between Thierry Lasry and the Sretsis sister duo, these glasses are decorated with two little daisies on the frame and come in a variety of colors. We're already swooning. Braided hair and daisies chains not included. Via: Whatthehellz?!
Thisisnaive shows us samples from the Dr. Martens' Summer 2011 collection. While more information should be released soon, for now these are one of the two models available from the unisex collection called, Reader. Heavily inspired by the 80's, the iconic brand is offering something new, by looking back at something old.
The Washington Post, has been running a Peep Diorama contest. Yes, dioramas made out of those little marshmallow yellow and pink bunnies and birdies. This year they received over 1,100 entries, and this colorful take on the movie Up (shown above) was the winner. See some of our favorites from the competition below. They will make your heart go peep.
Erykah Badu’s got a clue about group think--and disrobing. In her new video, Window Seat, Ms. Badu strips to nothing, and is assassinated in JFK style. The video wraps with a smart hey-kids-please-think-for-yourselves voiceover. Clearly not into hiding behind veils either, she credits Matt and Kim (for their video Lessons Learned) as the video's influence. These days, there aren’t many artists who’ll expose themselves, giving credit where it’s due. We group-heart Erykah Badu.
