My Blog__ 1000000 pieces of printing paper later…

There are many things I heart. Photography  is at the top of the list. I have pretty much been snapping photos ever since my dad put a camera between my hands, at age 5 or so. In an effort to try new things and challenge myself, I took a 35mm printing class this year. It's now been 8 months and I can officially say I have gone through the misery of having scratched negatives, botched photoshoots where the lighting didn't work out, 6 a.m photoshoots with negatives that don't turn out and finally millions of trips down that space like dark room, which often allows for serious body collisions. Despite the hard times, I strongly recommend anyone interested in photography to take a printing course, it will open your eyes to how things really work, something we no longer get with digital photography.

Thankfully, I am currently in the last step of making my final project, a 20 photo series of self portraits. I am pretty excited about it and can't wait to get in on here to share. Here is a sneak peak!
