Get Dressed__ Your Chucks Just Got A Lot More Comfortable
Your Chucks are about to get an upgrade. For the first time ever, Converse is revamping their century-old Chuck Taylors. So what’s the difference? Your chucks will finally be comfortable.
The Converse Chuck Taylor All Star II will have Nike Lunarlon lining, making them much more comfy than the originals. They’ll also have foam-padded collars and perforated microsuede liners to add even more comfort. The catch? They’ll cost about $20 more than the original Chuck Taylors, retailing at $70 for low-tops and $75 for hi-tops.
Jim Calhoun, president and CEO at Converse says, “The launch of Chuck II is a groundbreaking moment for Converse as we continue to move the brand forward through creativity and innovation, ushering in not just a new sneaker, but a completely new way of thinking.”
The new Chucks will be available in black, white, red and blue and will be available in stores starting Tuesday.
