Maybe you chowed down on some pizza last night, so you’re trying to take it easy on the carbs today. Or maybe you just want to be a little healthier and replace your grains with lettuce. Whatever the reason, if you’re looking for a lettuce wrap that won’t leave you bored and unsatisfied, we’ve got a few for you to try.

Buffalo Chicken Lettuce Wrap
Here’s a lettuce wrap with a kick. For this wrap, just toss shredded chicken breast in buffalo sauce, add some fresh veggies like tomato, celery and avocado, drizzle a little bit of low-fat ranch on top and wrap it all in a large lettuce leaf.

Turkey Chipotle Burger Lettuce Wrap
Skip the Chipotle burrito and opt for a turkey chipotle burger lettuce wrap instead. Start with a turkey burger, then add low-fat Monterey jack cheese, avocado, tomato and onion. Then, make a chipotle sauce by mixing low-fat mayo, 2 teaspoons adobo sauce and 1 tablespoon chopped chipotle chili and spoon on top or use for dipping.

Taco Lettuce Wrap
Taco Tuesday doesn’t always do a body good, but now it can. These are low-carb and packed with protein. Just wrap crumbled ground turkey seasoned with taco seasoning, salsa, green chiles, corn, black beans, cilantro and low-fat cheddar cheese in a large lettuce leaf and enjoy guilt-free.

Ahi Tuna Lettuce Wrap
Ahi tuna is low-cal, low-fat and full of protein. To make these wraps, first mix fresh cole claw mix with low-fat mayo, wasabi and lemon and spoon into your lettuce wraps, then just add avocado and some seared ahi tuna.

Shrimp Stir Fry Lettuce Wrap
It’s like Chinese food but without all the calories and possible MSG. Just pan-fry some pre-cooked shrimp and garlic with whatever veggies you like. We like snap peas, carrots, broccoli, mushrooms and zucchini. About a minute before the veggies are done, add some soy sauce or teriyaki sauce to the pan to let the veggies absorb the flavor, then spoon the mixture into your wraps.

BLT Lettuce Wrap
The lettuce is already covered here, so basically you just need to add bacon and tomatoes. Try using turkey bacon instead of regular for less calories and fat. You can also top with some low-fat shredded cheddar cheese, bleu cheese or avocado if you’d like!
