Get Healthy__ Will Working Out Cure Your Hangover?

We've all been there when a casual night of drinking turns into a head throbbing morning. Yes, there are ways to prevent this, but in case that didn't work and your now aching body is regretting those last couple drinks, you might be considering heading to the gym to sweat it out.

While most people have come to the conclusion that working out with a hangover helps to cure the pain, Donald Hensrud M.D., medical director of the Mayo Clinic Healthy Living Program says uh ah.

“It's probably not a good idea to workout with a hangover. Think of it as being ‘ill,’ your body is trying to feel better and needs rest, fluids, appropriate nutrition, and a tincture time to recover,” Hensrud said in an interview with Glamour.

Well, that's one solid excuse to stay under the covers. We'll take it.
