So as you heard today, we’ve finally let the cat outta the bag and gave ya’ll a glimpse of what Vans x Hellz has in store for you… come this February. In celebration of Hellz’ 5 year anniversary this year, this collaboration is the jump start to many others to come this year.

I can’t wait to spill the beans and give you more info… until then my lips are sealed and you’ll have no choice but to hold tight.

Yes yes I know… I’ve been pretty M.I.A lately and if there were acronym for something that meant more M.I.A. then M.I.A. then I’d be that, lol. But here I am, live and well and ready to kill it 2010. It’s a new decade and I can’t be more thrilled to take on this new year… woot woot!!! I’m pumped… or maybe it’s the bag of chocolate truffles that Linda (Lovemade) gave me that’s got me so hyped. But anyways… I know it’s already 5 days into the year but I thought I’d give you a heads up to my New Year resolutions, which btw I’m proud to say I’ve been working hard and I gotta say #7 has been the most fun So far so good guys…

• Eat healthier… I’m a carnivore and I love love love carbs!!! What are vegetables anyway?! Arggh… well I’m not the 20-something I used to be and I feel my bad habits catching up to me sooooo, I’m going to slowly add more vegies into my diet.
• Visit my family more… I mean, that’s the main reason I moved back to Cali right?! My nephew’s growing more and more everyday & I don’t wanna miss any of it. Plus I miss my mommy & daddy (yessss, I still call them that)
• Wake up & go to bed earlier… it’s hard to be productive when I’m tired as fuck from staying up til 4am every night. So, I’m going to attempt, yes I said attempt because this is going to be the hardest of them all, to get my ass to bed sooner & actually wake my ass up when the alarm is buzzing like crazy in the morning.
• Excercise… cuz I’m NOT gonna get that bangin’ bod’ by just sitting in front of the computer all day.
• Work smart NOT hard… this is the key to a successful business and keeping your sanity. Nuff said.
• Save money & make MORE money… I mean who doesn’t want more money right?!
• Baby?!

You don’t need to know me that long to know that i love twilight!!! So it comes as no surprise (although it’s a wonderful surprise) that my fabulous intern, Brittany would make me the most amazing birthday card evvveerrr!!! Kudos and bonus points for you girl

The best part of the card is a toss up between the glitter heart around my boo, RPatz and the hand drawn A-Morir glasses on RPatz inside at the bottom right corner… love it!!!

Last week, Bam and friends threw a “Homecoming” surprise party for my dirty cougar 30 at The Room. The music was crackin’, the drinks were flowin, and everyone was dancing… perfect ingredients for the best b-day party ever!!!

… not really, lol. ok well, lemme tell you something about myself… i heart food! italian, japanese, korean, filipino… all of it. now this is something that kenza and I have common and with that being said, majority of our tweets, bbm’s, and emails consist of “so when are we gonna eat,” “what’s good to eat,” “what’s that that you ate,” etc, etc, etc…

and since she moved to LA, we’ve been on a mission to link up & get our grub on at a bomb eatery BUT since it’s LA and nobody ever actually meets up when they say they do, cuz of work, traffic and/or pure exhaustion, (but in my case, an impromptu trip to hawaii courtesy of my boo, Bam. thanks baba!!!) our mission has been on delay… that is until tomorrow (woot woot)

Sooooo, the other I hit up Kenza on bbm and the conversation goes a lil’ something like this:

Our Reebok Top Down features a perforated, buttery, black leather along with some black studded detailing, ballistic nylon, contrast shoe strings and an insole that reads, “I’m ten steps ahead of you”. You can convert this into a low top by folding the flap which also has an oversize half tone graphic of our hellz iconz as lining.

… cuz I’ve been a bad bad blogger Sorry ya’ll…. I’ve been so wrapped up w/ crazy amounts of work w/ Hellz. First there was a month long preparation for the bi-yearly Project tradeshow in Vegas, then there was the craziness that ensued in Vegas (Hana and Kenza can vouch for me on that one… woot woot) and now I’m finally back in LA, catchin up on even more work and squeezing in some time to show my favorite Hearty gals some lovin’.

and that’s the end of my babbling excuse story.

I am very proud to present the collection, ‘Style Warriors’ for Fall 2009 Delivery 1, a line of clothing designed to celebrate women who escape the mundane and predictable in every facet of their lives. Drawing upon cross-cultural sophistication, and a diverse, Aztec-inspired color story, ‘Style Warriors’ truly embodies the aspirations of iconoclast women.

Colors present throughout the collection include navy, red, elephant grey and black and each garment’s fabrication is of the highest fidelity. Traditional garments, such as the hoodie, have been give the Hellz treatment; they been transformed into amazine fashion-forward pieces. Unique new silhouettes can be found in the delivery as well, such as the ‘Defensive,’ a woven button up which features cotton plaid w/ ruffle details in the front and a clever slit on it back. The ‘Style Warriors; denim program also features a highly stylized jean, called the ‘Taxi’ which comes in black and indigo vintage washes and features functional padding for added comfort during cold weather.

Great attention to detail, use of color and emphasis on form, function and durability in addition to the powerful, independent, fashion savvy female philosophy that Hellz culminates in a refreshing take on modern fashion: ‘Style Warriors.’
