Ai Weiwei's labyrinth

Need a bike? Ai Weiwei and Toronto have plenty. The Chinese contemporary artist, was in Toronto for Scotiabank Nuit Blanche and has left a little (or not so little...) present. Located in Nathan Phillips Square, Weiwei has set up his "Forever Bicycles" installation featuring 3,114 bicycles. The entire structure is about 100 ft long and 30 ft wide and uses the Youngjiu bike model (which translates to "forever bicycle" hence the name), the most well-known bicycle in China. Weiwei is said to be commenting on the changing social environment in China and throughout the whole world. These forever bicycles will be mesmerizing until October 27.

Not heading North before then? Check out more photos of the Ai Weiwei's installation below.
