Alexander Wang is being sued for running a sweat shop in Chinatown, NYC

Alexander Wang is being hit with a $50 Million lawsuit for running a sweatshop in Chinatown. Wenyu Lu, age 56, is the employee who has spoken out most prominently against Wang, saying that he was forced to work 25 hours without a break and collapsed on the job. He was reportedly hospitalized for several days following the event and fired for coming forward about the labor law violations taking place in the factory.

At this point, 30 workers have said that Alexander Wang and his brother, Dennis, force their employees to work 16+ hour days in a small, windowless room at 386 Broadway. Wang's representation has refused to confirm or comment on any of the events as they have not been served the law suit yet.
