Less is always more for Apiece Apart

Sure, it’s fun to own velvet cropped tops and metallic mini skirts, but these pieces probably won’t last you for seasons to come. Advocates of the basics, New York-based brand Apiece Apart knows how to make garments that look up to date--but their collections aren’t going out of style anytime soon. Designers Starr Hout and Laura Cramer strive to create “a simplified wardrobe, one that could be packed into a single bag - simple items that could be mixed and matched to go anywhere and do anything.” Their fall/winter 2013 collection definitely follows those guidelines, with easy-to-wear tunics, go-to twill pants, and plush handmade knits. Fill your closet with these building blocks, and you’ll find yourself yelling "I have nothing to wear!!!" a lot less often.
