News__ Arrested Development Returns

| By

Arrested Development will hit the big screen sometime in early 2013. For real.

Somewhere amongst the Girls media blitz, news of the Arrested Development movie popped up. Will Arnett ran his mouth on The Today Show and revealed that filming will begin in the next few months. In addition to the movie, there will be a 10-episode miniseries released on Netflix that updates us on what each character has been up to since the show was cancelled in 2006.

If you haven't seen Arrested Development, stop what you're doing and watch all 3 seasons. Welcome back. Hilarious, right? It was cancelled because of poor ratings which is a bigger joke than The Seaward or Mrs. Featherbottom or the Chicken Dance (you'll see below). Long-time fans of Arrested Development have been comforting themselves with David Cross books, Michael Cera rom-coms and Portia de Rossi appearances on Oprah for too long! Six years later, we can't wait to see what creator Mitchell Hurwitz has cooked up.

To get all amped up about the new release we put together the five Best Arrested Development Moments. What were your favorites?
