Banks gets Banned
In sync with the release of her new video "Van Vogue," Azealia Banks causes a controversy with her Dazed and Confused cover.
The video for "Van Vogue" features the Azealia Banks splashing around (like a mermaid would), holding a cane, and rocking over-sized sparkle lips. The cover of the latest issue of Dazed and Confused magazine, features the rap princess "smoking" a blown up a condom, while somehow also managing to flip us off. One of these things was banned in seven countries, one wasn't. Guess which?
Before the "Azealia Banks Blows Up" Dazed and Confused issue was even released, the magazine released a statement saying the issue would be banned and with it's release that's exactly what happened. On the inside of the magazine, Azealia is rocking a dark turquoise mane, which matches her shiny blue Chanel makeup.
