Go back in time with Beirut

Zachary Condon never expected Beirut to get this big. Over the last few years, though, he’s received tons of hype and had to re-work his originally solo songs to suit a full band. Now, Beirut is an international success, which means they can afford to make big(ish) budget videos. Their newest, “Vagabond”, takes place during the Second World War. Set in a dance hall, the video follows a group of soldiers and their dance partners. In the late 1940s, the U.S.O arranged many dances just like this for soldiers and their girlfriends and wives. This one, though, seems to be going awry, despite all the beautiful people packed into one tiny space.
