News__ Tap to get to Tokyo

While this Wizard of Oz Anniversary Collection has already been reported we couldn’t help but talk about this Betsey Johnson number. For the 1939 classic Warner Bros and Swarovski have invited top shoe designers to create their own adaptation of the Dorothy ruby shoe. And that BJ did. Encrusted with crystals and adorned with a bow at the toe, these platform pumps are so elaborate that tapping your heels may take you to more exotic places like Paris, Milan and Tokyo--not home.

The collection will also be auctioned off this fall, benefiting the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation.

Designers include: Betsey Johnson, Manolo Blahnik, Moschino, Giuseppe Zanotti, Jimmy Choo, L.A.M.B. by Gwen Stefani, A. Testoni, Abaete, Alberta Ferretti, Botkier, Christian Louboutin, Diane von Furstenberg, Lisa Pliner, Oscar de la Renta, Roger Vivier, Sergio Rossi, Stuart Weitzman, Tibi, and Tuleh.
