Chanel's new makeup collection will have you half way across the world

Chanel takes you to India with their new limited edition release. The Bombay Express De Chanel collection plays on light and shadows, combining golden tones with black. First stop on the express is the Illusion D'Ombre in Mirifique. Intensifying tradition Indian eye makeup, the shimmering long-wear eyeshadow creates a rich resemblance to traditional kohl pencils. The Route Des Indes De Chanel golden powder, used to highlight cheekbones and eyelids, is embossed with a design taken from a Chanel fabric that was part of the Indian-influenced collection created by Gabrielle Chanel in the '60s. There is also the Diwali polish which mixes gold and silver and peach lipstick and blush both with a gold shimmer as well.
