News__ Cement Neck
Hayden Dunham is a Brooklyn-based jewelry designer who sidesteps the oh-so-trendy use of crystals and Aztec inspired carved metal for materials that are a little more, ahem, concrete. Her previous collection New Dust used a combination of leathers and human hair to create pieces that were, in her own words, "grotesque and playful." This collection explores the clean minimalism of cement and geometric shapes. Perfect cubes, rectangular blocks and half spheres that almost look like iPhone earbuds hang on nylon ropes.
