Mirror mirror on the wall, who’s the fairest disco-ball?

Chanel is seriously going a bit koo koo this season with their face additions. While we can dig the glimmer of a diamond, we can now say that perhaps too much bling can be a bad thing. To celebrate Chanel’s re-invention of the Rouge Allure lipstick line, Creative Director for Chanel Makeup, Peter Phillips channels Saturday Night Fever. In an attempt to showcase the “sparkling, hypnotizing effect” of the lipstick, a short video featuring over four hours of mirror and crystal application to the face create the equally entrancing and eerie human disco-ball (Inguna Butane) of  “Mirror, Mirror.” While Peter Phillips says the video was inspired by last December’s Paris-Bombay show, we suspect he may have been equally influenced by some psychedelic drugs and 80’s John Travolta.
