We'd rather take your hair tips

From her plaid A-line skirt to her bodacious locks, the music video for "Take My Hand" by British singer Charli XCX is every bit the quintessential 90s dance club party. Fog and pom poms (reeking of teen spirit) cloud the frame as Charli's (formerly Charlotte Aitchinson) svelte eyebrows dance for the camera. Also, can we mention her gorgeous hair again?

The video is intentionally 90's-esque taking cues from Harmony Korine's 90s film endeavor Kids. Directed by Ryan Andrews, Charli XCX's go to director, the video was also influenced by third wave London clubs and Party Monster. Shot in one long sequence, Andrews directed friends to do what they wished at the famous Corsica Studios at Elephant and Castle in London, ensuring a real party vibe and a real Charli reaction. We think it worked.

Party with Charli XCX below.
