For the first time in almost 5 years, Chromatics are releasing a new album

If you saw Drive, you're probably familiar with the Chromatic tracks "In the City," "Hands in the Dark" and "Killing Spree." They make lo-fi Italo disco music featuring woozy vocals from Ruth Radelet and production by Glass Candy's Johnny Jewel.

Your boyfriend Ryan Gosling is such a fan that he originally wanted Johnny Jewel to score the entire soundtrack but "signals got crossed" and it didn't work out. "It sucked because they liked the music, and Ryan was super pumped about it," said Jewel in this Box Office Magazine interview.

We don't know about Ryan, but we're super pumped about the new track "Kill for Love" from their upcoming album of the same name. Check out the video below and keep an eye out for Chromatics Kill For Love EP, from the label Italians Do It Better, in January.
