90s grunge goddess,  feminist and fashion icon, Courtney Love set to release a clothing brand, Never the Bride 6 LOVE LOOKS WE DON'T WANT TO SEE IN COURTNEY'S NEW CLOTHING LINE: First recognized for her ground-breaking band, Hole, in the early 90s and later, her fast jump to "Punk Celebrity" via her marriage to the most famous rock star of Generation X, Courtney Love has made sure to stay in the spotlight for reasons that stretch beyond her musical career. She has played the role of the bad mother, the weeping widow, the raging siren, the pill popper, the junkie, the washed-up, crazy rock star and so many more. And every time her life gets a little less glamorous - "The David Letterman Years" or her very public cocaine addition, the tit-sucking at Wendy's, the death of her husband, beating up fellow musicians, losing custody of her daughter or threatening to kill journalists--she manages to pull herself out of it (sometimes with a court order) and claw her way back to the top. Love may be crazy, but she is also powerful and iconic. Her personal style has always kept her inside the elite fashion circle even when she is dressed in silky rags and velvet jumpers three times too small for her Amazon figure. In fact, it was the famous Kinder-Whore look she pioneered that put her on the fashion grid. Over the years she has experimented with her clothing, some choices much, much worse than others, but either way, Love keeps us intrigued. Recently, Love announced that after four years of waiting her clothing line "Never The Bride" has finally been licensed. According to Women's Wear Daily, Love told reporters that the line will be less Kinder-Whore and more Edwardian-inspired, Victorian lingerie. We've seen Love try both these hats on before. So, what can we expect from "Never The Bride"? Will Love's line represent the best of her days or the worst? Will she take too much inspiration from her pills and mood boards or will she channel her inner fashion icon? What we do know is in her debut clothing line, Never the Bride these are: 6 Love Looks We Don't Want To See in her .

1. DRUNK-JUNK LEATHER One of the cool things about Courtney is that she doesn't know when to stop. One of the uncool things about Courtney is that she doesn't know when to stop. She has no filter. It's what makes her fabulous or flail and with Courtney, we don't even think she knows which Love will come out. This was a 1993 look from backstage at the V.M.A.'s. She wore a lace corset, over-sized leather jacket and a red rose in her cleavage. Very Madonna-meets-I-let-a-blind-kid-do-my-make-up-then-drank-Ernest-Hemingway-under-the-table glam. Courtney wore it best she could, but we think most of the population will not be able to pull it off.

2. "THE KOOK" About two years ago, Courtney got into this trend that she called "The Kook." She even made an animated video celebrating the day she snapped out of her cray-cray ways and ditched "The Kook/" "The Kook" meant that Courtney was wearing fairy-tale-goth make-up and layering everything from sparkles to silk to the curtains from her bedroom. She was a walking wedding cake. She cut up rags and wove them into her big, fake, crimped hair and painted her beautiful, blue eyes with red shadow. It was not good.

3. LOW AND EXPOSED During the early 2000s, Courtney was doing a lot of cocaine. She was also doing her best to show off her body at any chance she got, hence flashing David Letterman on live television and wearing ultra-low pants. This phase was similar to her late 90s "sexy-fairy" phase (which we will address shortly) in that her body looked amazing but she covered it in really cheesy clothes. Maybe this tactic was genius because the ultra-low-teen-jeans made her flat stomach a breath of womanly-fresh air.

4. SHREDDED GLAM Whether it was a low-cut silk number with a slit up to her vagina or a billowing, mesh outfit or an evening grown shredded and pulled like pork, Courtney has been known to masquerade the slightly slutty as glamorous. It's a bold move, but we don't want to see any of this age inappropriate garb collaborated with "Victorian lingerie."

5. LACEY MILK-MAID Courtney recently wore this dress to perform at the 2nd Annual amfAR Inspiration Gala at The Museum of Modern Art. She also brought along Jack Donoghue from the band, Salem as her hand bag. This outfit combines every downfall of Love's style into one big, fat DON'T. Back in her late 20s, Love was the master of lace and ruffles. No one could match her and she knew it. Today, it seems that she can't work the all-white, milk-maid thing and we don't blame her, who could besides an actual milk-maid? If this is what she means by "Edwardian-inspired" than "Never The Bride" is going to be for funky mom's and funky mom's only which kind of ruins the whole anti-bride sentiment.

6. SEXY FAIRY I don't think we will ever really know why Courtney decided it would be a good idea to wear plastic, pink fairy wings on stage and then occasionally switch it up to leather capri-pants and a matching bandeau. The "sexy fairy" days of 98' were confusing. It seemed that Courtney was trying to channel Stevie Nicks but she ended up looking like Jim Carey in Ace Ventura when he tries to break into a mental hospital. The reason this look doesn't work--and why all the above Love looks don't work--is that Courtney is a bad ass and all these outfits are not. It's a lamb in sheep's clothing, or in this case, a snarling, powerful lion in a new-born puppy's clothing. Courtney looks best when she is commanding and confident. And, quite frankly, the reason we love Courtney so much is that regardless of what she is wearing she always takes charge of her audience.
