The new Creatures of Comfort s/s '12 collection features original prints made by owner Jade Lai

Not stars and stripes, stars and flowers. With their new spring/summer 2012 collection, Creatures of Comfort introduces original prints for the first time. Owner Jade Lai was inspired by the romantic languorous activity of the English Countryside and a vintage floral print she found at International Silks and Woolens in LA. The floral and star prints make appearances on trousers, dresses and button up shirts. As far as the rest of the collection, for s/s '12 Lai used similar fabrics to past Creatures of Comfort collections--heavy and lightweight silks for the complex drapery and versatility, easy linens and Japanese cottons. This season also features a Crepe de Chine and Crepe Georgette. Mix and match for more oomph.
