Does this ad blow?

Even though smoking has been banned in cafes, bars and clubs in France, the number of young smokers has increased. In a recent attempt to spread some anti-smoking cheer, this BDDP & Fils advertisement entered social circulation, causing quite a stir. Doi. In English the ad says, "To smoke is to be a slave to tobacco.” The imagery--which shows France's youth, metaphorically sucking off corporate tobacco kings--has caused a chain of controversy from the New York Times to Feministing.com as the campaign seems to belittle sexual violence.
