News__ House of Waris Scarves

The man behind the House of Waris jewelry line, is now adding ‘Scarf Designer’ to his impressive resume of creativity

Scarves are a natural progression from Waris Ahluwali delicate, refined jewelry collection. They make for the perfect marriage--flowing silks, cashmere and gauzy cotton with gentle patterns offset his often-angular silver and gold adornments. And just as Waris implements traditional techniques for his chains and pendants, he used careful craftsmanship with the scarves. Everything is hand-loomed, hand-woven, hand-dyed, or screen-printed into stunning color combos and graphics of honeycomb, emblems, and gentle two-tones.

For the House of Waris debut scarf collection, Waris personally photographed the lookbook during a vacation to Hawaii. Another good pairing.
