News__ Jason Wu for Canvas

Good design is good design, whether you're wearing it or whether you're sitting on it

According to Jason Wu, designing furniture was a no-brainer. Especially when it came to working with Canvas, one of New York's deeply coveted furnishing brands. Working with the company's founder Andrew Corrie, Wu created an eight-piece capsule collection that is true to his style: a signature hybrid of old world sophistication and contemporary sensibility.

Hand-dye linen upholstery, accented by Wu's signature handmade lace motif, pairs up with hand-blow glass accessories and metal casegoods contrast hand-waxed finishes on vintage blackened metal. Each piece is made by local American craftsmen. Given that Michelle Obama is one of Wu's main customers, you two might just end up with matching pillowcases.
