News__ Damien Hirst for Livestrong

| By

We assume you all know who Lance Armstrong is by now. But inspiring cancer survivor and seven time Tour de France winner is now the new favorite in the blog ‘coolosphere’ (yes, we made that word up). Between his work with Nike, Marc Newson and now Damien Hirst, the internet world has gone wild. Now, so have we.

The first word that comes to mind when looking at the new Lance Armstrong TREK Art Bike is ‘pretty.’ We know, we're such girls, but Hirst must have designed it with us in mind. The frame and wheels adorned with pink writing and butterflies were actually created for the upcoming STAGES exhibition, which will also be featuring the works of artists like Shepard Fairey, KAWS, Yoshimoto Nara. This event organized by Lance Armstrong and Nike will take place in Paris before crossing the pond into the US this Fall. All proceeds will be donated to the Lance Armstrong Foundation.
