News__ LOHAN FOR VANITY FAIR

Whatcha gonna do when you get out of jail? I'm gonna do an interview. Whatcha gonna do when you get out of jail? I'm gonna pose in the sun.

Wasting absolutely no time after her short trip to rehab and then county jail, Lindsay Lohan has managed to pose for Italian Vogue, do a piece about her legging line in BlackBook and now, grace the cover of the October issue of Vanity Fair. The spread, which features Lohan lounging in a nautical, beachy setting with sun-kissed skin and 50s starlet hair, is poised, pretty and over all, kind of dull. In contrast to the Italian Vogue shoot, it's clear that America is still after a more squeaky clean image of Lohan, who truly is anything but. However, the content of the interview in Vanity Fair is classic Lohan filled with talk of deep Daddy Issues, drugs, denial, rehab and sorrow.

“If I were the alcoholic everyone says I am, then putting a [SCRAM] bracelet on would have ended me up in detox, in the emergency room, because I would have had to come down from all the things that people say I’m taking and my father says I’m taking—so that says something, because I was fine. I think everyone has their own addictions and hopefully learns how to get past them. I think my biggest focus for myself is learning how to continue to get through the trauma that my father has caused in my life.”

Missed you, Linds.
