According to The Daily Mail (and Robert Duffy's Twitter), Marc Jacobs is gearing up to be "the first top fashion designer" to create a line of plus sized fashions. The fashion house is currently putting the project in the works by figuring out how much demand there is for sizes over 14. However, this is just hearsay as Duffy (who is the president of Marc Jacob's label) leaked the news on his Twitter before anything official had been confirmed. We guess the dude was just really excited about being able to share his personal struggle with diets, clothing and fitting into the mold.

"I'm a big guy 6'4" 210 lbs," he said. "Not easy for me to find clothes. Of course I can have them made. I know how everyone feels. I try to diet but..."

Marc Jacobs has been known to branch out in the past, creating a children's line, Little Marc Jacobs, Bark Jacobs dog accessories and during New York Fashion Week, Book Marc, a book shop. So, creating a plus size line wouldn't be so out of character.
