The Chateau Marmont is one of Los Angeles most famous celebrity hide-away hotels. Built in 1929, the Marmont has catered to artists, actors and musicians alike from James Dean (he first met Natalie Wood at the hotel) to Bob Dylan to Jim Morrison to Courtney Love to Lindsay Lohan (wasn't get alleged twitter break-up with then girlfriend Samantha Ronson done at that hotel?) Sadly, the hotel was made famous in 1982 when John Belushi overdosed after injecting a speed-ball.

In his first London solo show this month, photographer, Matt Jones debuts his exhibit about the Chateau Marmont at the Oblong Gallery. The Cheateau Marmont is Hollywood celebrity. The exhibit runs until May 30, find more information here.
