Nike and Liberty have a nice little love affair going on, that every so often flourishes into collections. The summer 2014 release, is a nice little addition to the bunch and features a blue floral palette. The shoes are wrapped in assortment of three Liberty London fabric designs--Anoosha, a 1930s print featuring blossom and bell flowers, Lora, a print based on a 1970s version of William Morris’s "Willow" pattern, and Crown, a design based on various paisley block prints from Liberty’s Merton print works from the late 19th to early 20th century.

In terms of the styles you can pick from it's a mix of heritage and modern, which include the Air Max 1, Air Max 90, Nike Roshe Run, Nike Internationalist Nike Blazer and the Dunk Sky Hi.

The collection is being released in two installments. The first includes the Air Max 1, Nike Roshe Run, Dunk Sky Hi and the Nike Internationalist, which have been given a patchwork-inspired mix of the Anoosha, Lora and Crown Liberty tretment. Simliair to a patchwork quilt, each print is stitched side by side and finished off with unique rugged rope style laces.

The second release will feature a stripped-back crisp look. The Nike Roshe Run and Dunk Sky Hi feature the Liberty Crown fabric, while the Nike Blazer is in the Liberty Lora.

There will also be apparel! With the Nike Tempo Short, Windrunner Jacket and Vest will featuring the same floral print as the footwear collection.

The Nike x Liberty footwear and apparel collection will launch exclusively in Liberty London on April 7, and at Nike retailers globally from May 7.
