Daniella Kallmeyer is The One

All Matrix references aside, the futuristic spring/summer 2013 collection from Daniella Kallmeyer was one of the highlights of NYFW for us thus far. Tailored pieces referenced plugging into the machine, as much as they did hitting the treadmill and then brunching on the Upper West Side where the designer resides. The complex digital prints that have become a consistent element amongst collections for Kallmeyer, were delicate and soft, layered with blue and orange suiting pieces. The collection was both cohesive and complex, a feat most designers strive for, but few actually achieve. Long, slick braids, colorful, bold brows and sunglasses giving us Oakley circa 2003 accented the clothing making the show feel like an all encompassing spectacle. Isn't that what runway is supposed to be all about?

Check out some of our favorite looks from the Daniella Kallmeyer s/s '13 show below.
