Behind the scenes of New York Fashion Week: Nomia fall/winter 2012/13

For fall/winter 2012, Nomia hardened up from the spring/summer 2012 silhouettes, and introduced  straighter lines and an ingenious use of fluorescents. Panels and accented collars of magenta and cobalt made an exciting contrast against Yara Flinn's muted palette of mossy greens, cold greys, taupe, and black. Seriously, no one creates drapes quite like Yara does. She finds a balance between structured and slouchy, and balances the two so well that you aren't quite sure whether it's more one or the other.
