News__ OC x adidas S/S ’14 Pt. 2

Tae-kwon-oh!

The latest collaboration from Opening Ceremony and adidas focuses on two sports. In part one, we saw baseball and now in part two it's a strike of Taekwondo. Taking inspiration form the clothes worn for the martial art, the pieces highlight the uniforms use of a quilted belt. They've used it in new and different ways though--as shoulder straps on dresses and jumpsuits and as the waistband for track shorts. Other highlights of the collection include the dot motif--that originated on taekwondo socks--the reinterpretation of the Gazelle pull-on shoe and Japanese platform sandals.

The adidas Originals x Opening Ceremony capsule collection is now available in select adidas Originals and Opening Ceremony store locations and online. See more of the collection below.
