On a little boat, sailing off into the sunset, looking pretty darn cute

There was a time ago when Petit Bateau was known for its high quality cotton and comfort. But now the French label is on a whole other tip, making more fashion driven clothes and lookbooks. Luckily the cotton and comfort quality is still being applied. For their s/s ’12 collection, Petit Bateau did a tight spin on classic nautical and early century beachwear, with a touch of understated French elegance. Turn-of-the-century swimwear can get a bad rap, but much of the aesthetic has made a comeback. Petit Bateau referenced these high-waists, striped onesies, and matching top and bottoms all in beautiful thick cotton. It is—dare we say—much sexier. We also really dig the shoelace up shorts.

So off we go, sailing, and looking pretty darn cute.
