Movie obsession in postcard form

We all have our favorite movies and the characters that go along with them. And the Postcards to Alphaville project has created a whole new way of "communicating" with them. Artists (like past hearty Featured Artist Andrea Wan) watch their favorite films (again) and then design a postcard in honor of their favorite character. Some of the odes so far include Isaac from Manhattan (see above), Nurse Ratched from One flew over the Cuckoo’s Nest, and Frank from Blue Velvet, and the result is a postcard that embodies the essence of the film in both literal and abstract ways. This time, grab a pen instead of the popcorn.
