Match made in flapper heaven Miuccia Prada reveals costume sketches for Baz Lurhman’s film adaptation of The Great Gatsby. In this case, too many Swarovski crystals is just the right amount--fourty looks created by Prada and costume designer Catherine Martin feature loads of gems and sequins. To amp up a tired jazz-era, Prada and Martin sourced designs from previous Prada and Miu Miu collections. “Baz and Miuccia have always connected on their shared fascination with finding modern ways of releasing classic and historical references” said Martin. Pair that with a score from Jay-Z and it looks like we're going to be all about Lurhman's take on that F. Scott Fitzgerald book we read in high school.
