R. Kelly announced an upcoming album titled Black Panties and we're celebrating with a round-up of, well, black panties.
After R. Kelly had throat surgery in July, we didn't know if he'd ever sing again. It was a dark time for us all. Thankfully, on Friday, he announced on Chicago's 107.5 Morning Riot that he has an upcoming album in the works. Titled Black Panties, R. Kelly said "It's the new 12 Play."
Just to refresh you, 12 Play includes tracks such as "Bump n'Grind," "I Like the Crotch on You" and "Sex Me Pt 1 & 2." Critics thought R. Kelly had matured with the release of Love Letter (2010) but "that was a moment in time" he told the Chicago radio station. No more love songs for this 44-year-old legend. It's back to singing songs that are basically narrations of X-rated films.
