Rodarte collaborated on a collection for Opening Ceremony for Spring '11, which includes sunglasses inspired by Roy Orbison

Yes, there was buzzing about the Rodarte for Opening Ceremony collection, then official announcements, then lookbooks as it hit stores, but may we just draw your attention to the sunglasses for a second. Our favorites are the Rodarte for Opening Ceremony Roy Orbison pair. The trapezoidal sunglasses inspired by the American singer-songwriter feature plastic frames and 3 round metal screws at top edges, and come in a huge collection of colors and a few floral prints. We're swooning. Coming in second are the Lost boys sun glasses, which also come in a large collection of colors but feature a rectangular, titanium shape with a snakeskin-wrapped thick-top frame, metal triangles on the frame sides and nose pads. Special mention goes out to the Rodarte for Opening Ceremony Tom Petty hat, which comes with a pretty hefty price tag.
