The two sisters behind Rodarte, Kate and Laura Mulleavy, got together with Ryan McGinley to outfit some of the athletes that are gearing up to compete in the Olympics starting Feb. 12 in Vancouver, BC and take some pictures. The end result is an stunning set of beautiful photos shot for The New York Times Magazine, titled, "The Highfliers." And our current Featured Artist, Tim Barber, assisted on the shoot. Decked out in custom Rodarte wear, the Highfliers include snowboarders Shaun White, Kelly Clark, Louie Vito and Hannah Teter, freestyle skiers Emily Cook, Rachael Flatt, Hannah Kearney and Anders Johnson Jeret “Speedy” Peterson, and figure skater Johnny Weir. See the set of photos here and the outfits below. Via: The Moment
