Hedi Slimane Finally gives it up

After a long progression of teasers of the YSL revamp under new creative direction (i.e re-branding and repackaging) by Hedi Slimane, we finally have something concrete to measure the success of the new Saint Laurent Paris. And as much as we're not into the new name change (why fix something if it ain't broke?) we have to admit, Slimane’s new spring/summer 2013 collection is pretty damn awesome. Full of sheer fabrics in stark black and crisp white complimented by large brimmed felt hats and just enough leather and metal, s/s ’13 from Heidi might make us forget about the horrible idea to change the name. Might.

Check out more of Hedi Slimane's new Saint Laurent Paris s/s '13 collection below.

I thought this collection was WHACK. Can I get a fresh eye? This shit is tired 1970’s recycled ideas with SORT OF updated silhouettes.

I think he can do better. Like Phoebe Philo is making fur slippers, STEP TO THAT.
