Every Saturday we select a photo from our Flickr pool to be featured on hearty

Scott McFadyen is a photographer  from Vancouver, Canada. Scott got into photography after randomly coming across Chris Little's images. "They were so mysterious and captivating. I tried shooting with film and then it was game over. Hooked".

The image above  was taken last month in Arizona, specifically in the North Kaibab area of The Grand Canyon,  on a formation known as The Esplanade. Scott used  a Yashica T4 Super and  Kodak Portra 400 film. "I love Portra and Ektar, I try all kinds of film though. That T4 and an Olympus Stylus Epic are my most trusty cameras, but I have lots more and I enjoy all of them. AE-1, Spotmatic, Contax T, GA645i."

In the future, Scott hopes get out to California, as well as the Atacama Desert in Chile and Iceland.
