Every Saturday we select a photo from our Flickr pool and feature it right here

Veronica Nardulli is a 29-year-old photographer who has studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence, and photography at the Center for Photography School of Bologna.  Since 2008 Veronica has been participating in various exhibitions and competitions, including "The World of the End" in Turin, "Micro Heart" in Milan, as well as a solo show in Dijone in France and an exhibition in Florence in the gallery The Bison.

The photo  above of the bear was taken with a Leica III, while doing research for a project on the glaciers. More recently, Veronica has been focusing on  portraits, which in Veronica's words, "Comes from the desire to develop a search of my closest ties. A self-designed in a dimension far from didactic but minimal and intimate, where the recognition of my face is elusive. My works are so quiet and desolate. A mixture of haunting interiors, self portraits and double exposures, combining subtlety of light and tone with a very raw and stripped back aesthetic."
