News__ The Face Forever!

August 24, 2010 | By

For 24 years, The Face was UK's go-to magazine for fashion, music and style. Some of the biggest names in fashion photography today started their careers between its pages, with Editor Richard Benson and Art Director Lee Swillington becoming known for championing new photographers like David LaChapelle, Juergen Teller and the Dutch duo Inez van Lamsweerde & Vindoodh Matadin. Together, underneath the bold red banner, The Face's team proved that not everything from the 80's was terrible. And even though the publication died an untimely death at the hands of an Australian pop star (Jason Donovan, last seen in commercials for "Iceland" a frozen food supermarket in Britain), its glory lives on at spin-off bi-annual mag Pop and on this shirt. Designer LaLaLove immortalizes The Face in 100% cotton (check it out here) available at SUPERSWEET's online shop.
