Slow mo + Blake = Whoa

For his latest film, Trevor Undi follows a fail-proof formula: make it slow mo and use James Blake as soundtrack. Sampling Blake’s "Retrograde," the British/Canadian director adds even more drama to Karl Lagerfeld’s  2012/2013 Métiers d’Art runway show footage. Lagerfeld's collection, which debuted at the legendary Linlithgow Palace last December, was a nod to Chanel’s Scottish roots, featuring plaids, tweeds, and knits. The macabre setting, which seemed perfectly suited for a Macbeth performance, coupled with the medieval-inspired collection was spectacular enough. But adding Blake to the equation makes for the most delightfully sinister trifecta.
