News__ Beach House in the Desert

Too bad they weren't selling tickets for this...

Everything is more epic in the desert. In a new short film, Beach House roadtrips to Texas and performs from dusk ‘til dawn amongst canyons and cacti. “Forever Still is directly inspired by Pink Floyd’s Live at Pompeii," Beach House says. "We wanted to perform in a non-typical setting without losing the spirit of our music. We felt the songs would resonate in a more majestic and spiritual landscape.”

The film is a perfect way to revisit the band's latest album, Bloom. And yes, the songs are just as dreamy as you remember them. Try not to close your eyes, though, the video is definitely worth the watch (if only for Victoria Legrand's amazing hair and wild horse sightings).

Watch the video Forever Still below to catch Beach House perform live in the desert.
