Beach House takes cue from 70's inter-dimensional travel in their new "Lazuli" video

Enter the (Hipster) Twilight Zone with Beach House’s new video for "Lazuli" off their recently released album Bloom. While the character driven opening of Lazuli’s video, especially the boy wandering gummo-esque around the chain link fence seemed promising, unfortunately the “other dimension,” neon-y colored 2 dimensional shapes, weird exorcist dance convulsions, and pink smoke theme, well, sucked. While the idea is nice, if we want to see horrible graphics representing the other dimensions and folding of space we’ll watch Dune. The song itself seems to be the saving grace, but then again we could always just play it from our iTunes.
