Young Chinese artist, Xu Di is exhibiting his first solo exhibition, "Vivid as Fruit" at the Vanguard Gallery in Shanghai on September 10th. The exhibition, according to the gallery, "utilizes his perception and pondering to experience dialectic philosophy" through the human body, ego, rotten meat and the flesh of sea creatures. Xu Di's pieces focus on exploring the existence of the social university while experimenting with different forms of flesh, both human and animal, and how deterioration, perception and change play with the senses.

Now, who wants to fly us to Shanghai so we can check this out?
