Resort collections are starting to be less about bathing suits, caftans and sandals–with designers embracing their less (we’ll call it) “traveled” customers. And for Acne Resort ‘11, it’s drapey fabrics, platform boots, and hats to hide under. The collection also features a tan leather dress and vest, and a full piece powder blue suit (shown above) that isn’t stuck in the ’70s. We may already have trouble keeping up with the change from Winter to Spring collections, but this a Resort presentation we can get with.
