Missoni x Target

Friday, August 19th, 2011

Ride around town looking like a million Missoni bucks, but paying Target prices Missoni has paired up with giant Target (pronounced Tar-jay or Targeté) on a collection of, well, everything. Blankets, luggage, tea cups, baby clothes, adult clothes, even a bike. It's interesting, and a little confusing, when really high-end brands collaborate with really low-end brands (Sorry, Targeté).  Do we love that we can afford to buy more than one piece of the collection, or dislike that so can everyone else? The Missoni x Target collection will hit stores September 13th and probably be sold out before they re-open doors on the 14th. See some of our picks from the Target x Missoni collection. That bike, definitely a favorite. Pictures borrowed from: Fashion Bomb

Bicycle Film Festival

Celebrating all things bike When Brendt Barbur was hit by a bus while riding his bike, instead of letting it stay a negative experience he turned into a positive one. He started the Bicycle film Festival. Founded in 2001, the BFF is a platform to celebrate bicycle through music, art and film. The BFF kicked off in New York yesterday, and there are tons of bike related activities going on around the city, like this one. We suggest this for attire.

Thursday, July 8th, 2010
This is better than sliced bread--a wicker basket with a cage to keep your little doggy safe (and put) when you ride. The Nantucket Cisco Pet Bicycle Basket, comes with a removable cover and a padded interior to keep the little girl or guy comfortable. Now all we need to do is get that dog we’ve been wanting.
