Confetti System Japan Project

Confetti System's Knot Ornament After the terrible tragedies in Japan, our friends at Confetti System are helping raise funds. For a donation of $30 they'll send you their knot ornament as a token of appreciation for your contribution.  100% of proceeds go to the Red Cross in support of their earthquake and tsunami relief work. Knots are used to symbolize memory and the ornament is fitting as we keep the Japanese people in our hearts and minds. Click here to donate.

The earthquake and tsunami in Japan were devastating (to see before and after satellite pictures click here), but the lasting problems and implications are just beginning. Even though we may seem so far away, there are a lot of different ways to help out, and we put together a list of some of the best lists and some innovative ways to help Japan. Every little bit helps. The MSNBC blog, Technolog is constantly updating their extensive lists of ways to help. Check out Technolog, Japan's Earthquake: How to Help. Mashable is helping simplify things and put together a list of 7 simple ways to help. Visit Mashable's Japan Earthquake and Tsunami: 7 simple Ways to Help. The Huffington Post's list of relief options includes quotes from the organizations you'll be donating to. Read the Huffington Post's How to Help Japan Earthquake Relief Options here. N.E.E.T. Magazine put together a neat (I'm sure they get that all the time) collection of Charity Shops for Japan, with proceeds from today's purchases going to help relief efforts. See the N.E.E.T. Charity Shops for Japan here. And there's always the Gaga route found via Jezebel.
