Hana May steps into Kerin Rose's life, apartment, and studio space to give you a glimpse of the fabulous world of bedazzled eyewear
Over at hearty, we're big fans of New York jewelry giant Kerin Rose. She's like a fabulous cocktail with just the right amount of crazy. Featured in our January Issue of last year, Kerin took us into her home as she went through her daily routine of wild make-up, glitter and glam. She is the designer of A Morir and is wholly responsible for the spiked, studded, bedazzled, and jewel-clad glasses worn by everyone from Lady Gaga, to Rihanna, to Katy Perry. On our premiere episode of Pencil Me In, Kerin takes our Editor-in-chief Hana May to her studio to check out her latest and greatest. Think cribs, but way more crystals.
Pencil Me In is an ongoing hearty tv feature in which Editor-in-Chief, Hana May joins creatives for part of their day.

Chief’s First Video
Wednesday, July 14th, 2010
Four piece LA-based band, Chief, drops their premiere video for their song Night and Day, and we haven't been able to get the song out of our heads since. Directed by Matt Creed, the video features an old time brothel filled with whores and Johns watching a love storied performance. The video also happens to star (okay, really she's in it for like 5 seconds tops) our very own Editor-in-Chief Hana May, who now can't stop chanting "I'm famous" around the office these days (okay, not really we're just teasing her). Check out the video above and some screen shots below and get ready for Chief’s debut album Modern Rituals, which will be released on Domino Records, August 17th.
You can also see more about the shoot on Hana May's blog.
We always knew she was a little slutty.
Our good friend Rochelle Goldberg (whose ear cuffs you may have noticed on our hearty shop!) was also in the video.
The boys.
This dancer is amazing.
