BEST OF TWITTER

Monday, March 29th, 2010

Twitter is a place to network, link up, joke around but more over, it’s a place between reality and computer where anyone can copyright their inner dialogue and celebrities are but one degree of separation. Here are some of the women who we think totally get twitter.

MINDY KALING (Writer, producer, actress, comedian)

@mindykaling

Best Tweet: “For the record, being 30 is totally f’ed. The battle between girl and woman is Ridley Scott level intense. Can’t wait to be 31.”

KERIN ROSE (Designer, Professional Bedazzler)

@kerinrose

Best Tweet: “i am so amused by my mother emailing me “wazzup?”& nothing else that i think she just answered her own question.”

JOAN RIVERS

@Joan_Rivers

Best Tweet: With Joan it’s damn impossible to pick just one because everything that escapes her dragon lips is pure maniac gold, but here are some real classics:

“No man will touch me. Do you have any idea what it’s like to have a rapist see you naked and then decide to retire?!?”

“Finding it sad and difficult to write an obituary for a friend who died over the weekend. Is it wrong to say he loved black men and pizza?”

“I have no sex appeal. Today I had an obscene phone caller turn gay.”

SARAH HASKINS (Comedian)

@Sarah_Haskins

Best Tweet: “It feels like I am at a cool nightclub. A nightclub of moms.”

COURTNEY LOVE

@CourtneyLoveUK

Best Tweet: Ever since Courtney has began to check her spelling and type like a human, the craziness has mellowed out. However, she still throws the world a jem every now and then, “ive given my word not to twitter its a little or a lot like masturbating not one good thing has come from the useless pasttime but i likeit?”

PAM ANDERSON (Actress)

@PamelaDAnderson

Best Tweet: Pam mostly tweets links to her Facebook page where you can view screen caps of the comments left on her links and photos. We think is pretty hilarious. Next level.

CHELSEA HANDLER (Comedian, Author)

@CHELSEALATELY

Best Tweet: “Jay Mohr thinks I “stumbled” past him last night. There’s a big difference between stumbling by and just not interested.”

LEAH MCSWEENEY (HBIC MOB)

@Leahmob

Best Tweet: “HE’S NOT GOOD ENOUGH FOR ME. BUT HE’S GOOD ENOUGH FOR NOW.”

There are tons of other women we love and adore on Twitter. Follow us along @heartymagazine and keep checking up for more lists like this.

Round-Up

Hellz Party! Vans x Hellz Collection drops in February. Enjoy the party photos of our favorite bedazzler, Kerin Rose, Editor-in-Chief, Hana May and her side kick: that always amazing head of hair. [Fat Lace]

Racist KFC? Married to the Mob noticed and so did our writer Mish, plus a pile of anonymous commenters. [Married to the Mob & Fucking Diaries]

Rumor has it Miley Cyrus is set to play Demi Moore‘s daughter in the up-coming film, L.O.L: Laughing Out Loud. We don’t see much resemblance between these two women, except for the fact that they both probably have pictures of Ashton Kutcher on their bedroom walls. [Perez Hilton]

Grandma: Anything you can do I can do better, I can do anything better than you! Spider: Prove it. Done. [Frank 151]

Director of the ground-breaking film, Precious, Lee Daniels, talks to Dazed Digital about shaping one of the year’s most controversial films. Daniels also explains how he convinced Mariah to go on camera sans glitter. [Dazed Digital]

Joan Rivers goes balls to the wall (per usual) when talking to The Daily Beast. Admits she will “wear a diaper” if it gets her some work. [The Daily Beast]
